Liberal Democrats in South West Bedfordshire swung in to action today to launch their campaign the moment Gordon Brown announced the election had been called

Rod Cantrill, Lib Dem candidate for South West Bedfordshire said:

"At last, people will get the chance to decide who they want as their local MP, and not before time!"

"The Liberal Democrats will be fighting the election calling for real change and a fair deal for the Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable and Houghton Regis areas. A vote for the Liberal Democrats is a vote to cut taxes for those on low and middle incomes,

give all our children a fair start in life, create green jobs and bring in big reforms to the way the country is run."
